Unexpected Guest – Plumber Wala Twist
So, my tap was not working. I called a plumber. But the person who showed up didn’t look like a plumber at all. He had a gym-toned body, sharp jawline, confident eyes – someone who looked more like a model than a plumber.
He got to work quietly and efficiently. I stood nearby, watching him — maybe a little more than I should have. There was something about him that kept pulling my attention back.
Once he finished, I offered him some tea. He accepted with a polite smile and sat down on the edge of my sofa. I couldn’t help myself and asked,
“You work out a lot, don’t you?”
He smiled faintly, and replied,
“Used to. I came from a good background, but my brother betrayed me. I lost everything. I started this work to find peace again.”
His voice had depth — like he’d seen more than he let on. As I bent down to pick up his empty cup, I caught him staring directly at me — at my curves. I didn’t say anything at first… but I felt the silence. It was charged.
I turned and asked,
“Do you have a girlfriend or wife?”
He shook his head. “No one in my life right now.”
He looked at me, and added softly,
“But if someone like you existed in it... things would be different.”
I smiled shyly. “You're the first one who ever complimented me like that.”
He replied with a smirk, “Then they must be blind.”
Something shifted between us. I said playfully,
“Maybe we can be friends?”
He leaned back, relaxed, eyes not leaving mine. “More than that, we can be.”
I sat beside him — a little nervous, but smiling. We started talking about everything — life, mistakes, dreams, broken hopes. Every time I laughed, he looked at me like I mattered.
The rain had started pouring outside. Thunder rolled in the background. He walked to the window, gazing out.
I asked softly, “You sure you want to go in this weather?”
He turned around slowly, his eyes locked on mine.
“Only if you ask me to leave.”
I didn’t reply. I just smiled… and that was enough.
